Mia (Anne Curtis) is tormented by a nightmare of her past. In her dream, her younger self sits as her mother Ingrid brushes her hair. Ingrid retells the story of “Blue Beard,” about a rich man who kills his wives for disobeying him, and warns that defiance only leads to danger. Growing angry,
Ingrid accuses Mia of being disobedient by bringing in ‘that boy’ into their house and vows to kill any prince who dares to rescue her. Mia’s eyes suddenly open and sees a woman in black floating before her.
Terrified, Mia screams, waking Patrick, who rushes into her room and holds her in his arms to calm her down. But Mia insists that he leave at once, terrified that the woman will kill him.
The next morning, she wakes up with a smile upon seeing Patrick asleep on her bed. She gently brushes her hand across his face until he stirs awake, immediately asking how she is and whether she remembers her nightmare. Mia shakes her head, saying she doesn’t recall anything.
Before Patrick leaves the room, Mia explains that she did nothing to cause patient Elvie (Sharmaine Suarez)'s collapse at the hospital yesterday, except for telling her that her mother was already dead.
