At OK Hospital, Samuel (Michael De Mesa) sits in a daze while Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz) conducts a check-up with other staff around him. Despite Doc Anok repeatedly asking if he can hear him, Samuel gives no response. Doc Emman (Mark Oblea) notes that Samuel’s vital signs remain normal, leaving Doc Anok puzzled about the recurring headaches. With no clear explanation, he instructs his team to wait for Samuel’s surgeon’s assessment.
Left alone with him, Nurse Eden (Agot Isidro) sits by Samuel’s bedside and observes his face. Slowly, Samuel begins to respond, murmuring, “Maganda. Maganda siya.” Surprised, Eden asks who he is referring to, and Samuel replies that his wife—Mia’s (Anne Curtis) mother—is beautiful. Eden smiles faintly and comments that Mia must be so lucky.
Doc Anok watches in silence and takes note of the unusual exchange but chooses to keep his thoughts to himself. Later, he instructs Nurse Eden not to allow Mia near Samuel, recalling the incident where Samuel tried to strangle his own daughter. Eden, however, answers that it shouldn’t be a problem since Mia seems to have no plans of visiting her father anyway.
