After his argument with Matmat (Carlo Aquino) the night before for accepting Mia (Anne Curtis)’s job offer without consulting him, Patrick (Joshua Garcia) decided—thanks to Nanay Li (Rio Locsin)’s advice—to support his brother’s choice.
He went to Mia’s mansion to fetch Matmat, this time willing to let him be the illustrator of Mia’s books but with a few conditions. First, they would only stay at the mansion on weekdays since Matmat’s priority remains his work at OK Hospital, which is part of his therapy sessions with Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz), and Mia must not demand his time while he is at the hospital.
Mia agreed, assuring Patrick she could work around Matmat’s schedule. Patrick then added another condition– if Matmat ever said he wanted to leave and go home, Mia must allow it. Mia, however, was confident she could make him stay. Patrick also reminded her that there would be days when Matmat would have tantrums, and she would need to be patient, which Mia brushed off as something easy. Then, stepping closer to Patrick and placing her hand on his arm, she promised to fulfill all those conditions because it was him who asked.
