The episode opens with patient Tommy (Bodjie Pascua) sneaking out of his room at OK Hospital, which he shares with Samuel (Michael De Mesa) and Kai (Louise Abuel). He heads straight to the clinic of Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz), who seems to be expecting his visit and has even prepared chips, soda, and a chessboard, suggesting that their late-night games have become a routine.

Their conversation reveals that Tommy has actually been cleared for discharge for some time now and only needs to return for regular checkups. However, he refuses to leave the hospital, joking that he doesn’t want Doc Anok to lose his “marites” who provides him with inside information. He even quips that they should be splitting Doc Anok’s salary since he often becomes the source of news about patients who would rather hide secrets from the staff.

Tommy then shares gossip about the other patients—how Elvie (Sharmaine Suarez) has been proudly talking about her daughter and is already planning to set her up with Patrick (Joshua Garcia), and how Cynthia (Alora Sasam) is once again retelling spooky stories. While Tommy playfully mimics ghost sounds, the scene cuts to Matmat (Carlo Aquino), who is wandering into the underground section of Mia (Anne Curtis)'s mansion in search of a comfort room.

This is the first night that Matmat and Patrick are staying over at Mia’s mansion. As Matmat explores the eerier parts of the house, he comes across the secret room. He stares at it curiously until Mia suddenly appears beside him and begins narrating the tale of “Blue Beard.”

According to Mia, the story is about a wealthy man who lived in a grand palace and was feared by many because of his unusual blue beard. Her narration is interspersed with flashback scenes of a younger Samuel (Geoff Eigenman), hinting that he may have been her inspiration in writing the story. She continues with how the rich man brought his new wife to the palace and showered her with treasures and diamonds under one condition–never to open the door in the deepest part of the palace. But when curiosity got the better of her, she disobeyed him and discovered the corpses of his former wives inside. It is revealed that the man killed those who failed to follow his orders.
