After sharing a hearty breakfast prepared by Patrick (Joshua Garcia), he, Matmat (Carlo Aquino), and Mia (Anne Curtis) got ready to head to OK Hospital—Patrick for his duty, Matmat for his painting session, and Mia for her literature class with the patients.
As he is about to get into Mia’s car, Matmat screams upon noticing an old man, who introduces himself as Dipong, claiming to be the caretaker of the mansion. However, Mia insists she doesn’t know him and adds that Vincent (Enchong Dee) never mentioned having anyone looking after the property. Patrick starts dragging Dipong out of the premises but freezes when the man mentions that he used to work at the mansion alongside his mother, Tess (Meryll Soriano).
Patrick presses Dipong for answers about Tess, particularly regarding her death. In a hushed voice, Dipong shares that Tess had been on duty at the mansion that night before going home, where she was later found dead. While hearsay suggests that robbers had mugged her, Dipong warns that it would be best for the brothers to leave the mansion altogether, hinting that someone is bound to return. Patrick tries to get him to clarify who he means, but Dipong fails to answer as Mia honks from the car.
