Following a commotion at a hospital where Mia (Anne Curtis) ended up stabbing Patrick (Joshua Garcia)’s hand after he stopped her from attacking a psychiatric patient, her manager Vincent (Enchong Dee) began cleaning up the mess she left behind and immediately sent Patrick a video message asking him to come to his office so he could personally apologize for what happened.
At the Romulo Pages Corp office, Patrick was welcomed by Vincent’s assistant Madeth (Xyriel Manabat), who walked him through the hallway and led him to Vincent’s office where he was asked to wait while the manager wrapped up a meeting.
Left alone, Patrick passed the time browsing through a few of Mia’s books on display when Mia herself arrived, causing a stir in the office as the staff scrambled at the sight of her, hinting at how tense everyone feels around the popular children’s book author. On her way, she randomly picked up a key trinket from an employee’s desk just because she found it pretty, not even bothering to ask if she could take it.
Madeth tried to stop Mia from entering the office where Patrick was waiting, but Mia simply brushed her off, determined to do as she pleased like always.
