After dodging calls from OK Hospital the entire day, Vincent (Enchong Dee) finally had no choice but to pick up when Mia, cold and firm as always, told him to answer and put it on speaker.
On the other end was Nurse Gemma (Kaori Oinuma), calmly reminding Mia that she still hadn’t signed the consent form for her father Samuel’s (Michael De Mesa) brain surgery, a procedure needed to remove the tumor in his brain, but Mia remained cold and indifferent, asking why the hospital kept trying to save someone who, in her eyes, had been dead for a long time.
Later that day, Vincent secretly arranged for Gemma to show up at Mia’s photoshoot venue, hoping to convince her face-to-face. Gemma, holding on to whatever chance she had, asked Mia once more to sign the form. But Mia, speaking in a tone that hinted at shared history, said she has no parents, that one is a lifeless soul people keep trying to revive, and the other is already dead but still haunts her every single day.
