Dia Mate immediately wowed the jury as soon as she stepped out of the “iconator” because of how good-looking she was in her Adam Levine face and suit. She tried to further win the hearts of the ladies with her “handsomest” pose and her pick-up line, which struck an idea on hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro to challenge “Boy Pick-up" himself, Ogie Alcasid.
They then quizzed Dia regarding the preparations she did for her act this week, which, according to her, was basically studying Adam Levine from the tone of his voice to his movements onstage. Since they were awestruck by Dia’s handsomeness, it inspired Jhong and Vhong to deliver pickup lines for her and Ogie, respectively.
As the jury were asked for their comments on her performance, Klarisse commended her for following her advice to do the “twang trick,” while Ogie told her that this particular act is probably her best so far. Nyoy Volante remarked that he couldn’t find any mark of Dia in her transformation—which is a good thing for this competition—while Sharon Cuneta said that she has kept getting better as the weeks went by.
