A tense confrontation sparked inside the office of the Guerreros at the city hall as the Guerreros and the Mondragons, along with their henchmen, pointed their guns at each other after Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) threatened to shoot Divina (Rosanna Roces) upon seeing her. Brando (Roi Vinzon) tried to stop him by saying that she is his wife, but Miguelito refused to listen to him and Rockyboy’s pleas.
As he called her a “kakuntsaba” (or an ally) of Tanggol (Coco Martin), Divina refuted it and told Miguelito that she also now regards him as an enemy. Since the mayor still didn’t believe her, Divina asked her right-hand man Emil (Jay Gonzaga) to put down his gun, but to no avail. Prodded by Brando, Roberto (Albert Martinez) suddenly spoke up by disclosing that it was Divina who actually tipped him and the Quiapo police about the hideout of Tanggol and his group at the time. Although they failed to arrest Tanggol and his friends, Divina succeeded in proving Roberto that she could be trusted by him and his family.
Miguelito couldn’t do anything but give in, yet told Roberto that if Divina did something wrong, then the blame would definitely be on him. To clear the air of tension, Brando simply suggested for them to just talk about their business, since that was their real agenda for that evening.
While they were getting their food at the buffet area, Jackie (Angel Aquino) couldn’t help but quiz Divina about her reason for turning her back on Tanggol, as well as implying her being a traitor. Miguelito had the same question, to which Divina explained that it was because she had already lost some of her businesses and her most trusted henchman because of her loyalty to Tanggol. Besides, she also abhors him for abandoning her and Emil and letting them be incarcerated, as he and his group were able to escape.
Thus, between the two of them, she believes that it’s him who is the real traitor since he was the one who left them when they needed him the most. Knowing how dangerous Tanggol and his friends can be, Jackie advised Divina that she better prepare for their retaliation. Divina retorted that it’s actually the reason why she decided to go back to her family because she’s certain that they can protect her from him.
Brando and Rockyboy both expressed their support for Divina, especially the latter after being beaten up by Tanggol during their first encounter.
