As she watched her depart from Tropang Tanggol’s new hideout following their heart-to-heart conversation, Tanggol (Coco Martin) couldn’t help but have doubts with regard to his decision to put his trust in Ponggay (Maris Racal).
He’s still uncertain if Ponggay is going to be his ally or not after he had imparted with her as she expressed her eagerness to arrest him since she’s firm in fulfilling her sworn duty as a police officer. Although that’s the case, Tanggol believes that he has made the right decision to save her because he knows that she’s not a bad person. However, he hopes that she will not report them to her superiors.
Before she completely left the place, Ponggay made an abrupt stop as she pondered whether she must feel pity over Tanggol or not since she should consider him an enemy. However, after hearing his story, she couldn’t help but empathize with him, realizing that Tanggol might be right in claiming that he’s just in a tight situation, which brought him to where he is at present.
But since she’s a policewoman, she must learn to fight what she feels for him since it’s her job to arrest him.
