As Ponggay (Maris Racal) commended his impressive flair in choosing their hideout because of how peaceful the vibe is, Tanggol (Coco Martin) told her that the peace she was marveling at is actually the people’s outcry for all their hardships due to poor governance, as well as their intense desire for change in Manila—including him.
Ponggay conveyed that she exactly knows how it feels, confessing to Tanggol that it was actually him whom she voted for even though everyone in her family supported Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) in the last elections. She explained that it was because she found him trustworthy and she assumed that he’s a morally upright man. But her perception of him instantly changed after she and her colleagues were able to seize enormous amounts of money and drugs when they raided their mansion.
But Tanggol implied that she didn’t have the right to judge him since she doesn’t know who he really is nor what his entire story is yet. Thus, Ponggay expressed her interest in getting to know him better and deeper, which left him dumbfounded.
