After the second wave of spectacular transformations, the excitement continues as a brand-new batch of icons awaits next week’s performers on "Your Face Sounds Familiar."
Many are already looking forward to Jarlo Base’s performance as he channels his inner Jericho Rosales. Dia Mate, on the other hand, wished for a female icon who doesn’t dance, as she’s been dancing for two weeks straight, and she also had a feeling she might get a male artist this time. And what a surprise it was when the "iconizer" revealed the photo of her boyfriend, Juan Karlos a.k.a. JK, as her next assignment!
But in a plot twist that got everyone even more hyped, Pepe Herrera stepped forward and asked if JK would be happy if Dia imitated him. Dia said yes, however, Pepe pressed the “steal” button, meaning he took JK as his own icon, explaining that he wanted to challenge himself to portray someone as talented as JK, he’s one of his idols. The hosts then reminded everyone that each performer can only use the “steal power” once throughout the season. Because of that, Dia had to hit the "iconizer" again and got Adam Levine as her new assignment.
As for the rest, Rufa Mae Quinto will take on Miley Cyrus, BGYO’s Akira Morishita is set to transform into Charlie Puth, and Alexa Ilacad couldn’t hide her excitement when she found out she’ll be impersonating her favorite artist, BLACKPINK’s Jennie.
JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano, a.k.a. JMielle, will face double the pressure as they take on Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid, one of the show’s judges. And from one global icon to another, Jason Dy will bring timeless charm as the legendary Frank Sinatra.
