More icons, more transformations! The October 26 episode of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” once again delivered a night of impressive performances, with this week’s celebrity contestants taking on music legends from different eras and genres.
Pepe Herrera unleashed his inner rockstar as Steven Tyler, Dia Mate brought fierce ‘amakabogera’ confidence as Maymay Entrata, Rufa Mae Quinto charmed with her flirty and funny take on Cyndi Lauper, and Jarlo Base melted hearts with his soulful singing as Jay R.
Serving up vintage glamour was Alexa Ilacad as Connie Francis, while JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano, together known as JMielle, channeled the emotion of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
Making girls kilig, BGYO’s Akira Morishita took the stage as Harry Styles, and last but not the least, Jason Dy impressed everyone with his powerful transformation into Sam Smith.
After all the transformations and show-stopping numbers, it was time for the judges’ scores. Jarlo landed at the bottom of the leaderboard, followed by Dia and Rufa Mae. Pepe came in fourth, Akira climbed higher, and Alexa secured the sixth spot. It was a close match between JMielle and Jason, but Jason ultimately emerged as the night’s top scorer.
When the celebrity performers cast their votes—each giving three points to the contender they felt delivered the best transformation—the results stayed the same. Jason held onto his lead and was officially crowned this week’s “Your Face Sounds Familiar” winner, earning ₱50,000.
