In his pursuit of exacting vengeance against Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) for what he had done to his brothers, David (McCoy de Leon) and Tanggol (Coco Martin), Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) came up with the plan of killing him through poisoning.
While nobody was in the kitchen and the dining room except him, Santino secretly mixed methanol into Miguelito’s favorite liquor, which one of the maids later brought to the latter. Santino watched as Miguelito poured some amount into a glass and waited for him to at least have a sip of it.
Although Miguelito noticed that the drink smelled different, he was still supposed to take a swig of it but was interrupted by Roberto (Albert Martinez), who asked him to hurry up as they were about to go to the hideout of the Red Phoenix to witness firsthand the deaths of Tanggol and Ramon (Christopher de Leon).
