Upon learning that Vice Mayor Roberto Guerrero (Albert Martinez) passed the ordinance regarding the increment in the budget for infrastructure and the slash in the budget for social welfare services, which the Team Tanggol councilors vehemently objected to during their meeting.
This, of course, enraged Tindeng (Charo Santos), prompting her to approach him to express her concern and ask her about the fund transfers. Jackie (Angel Aquino) reproached them for complaining early in the morning and reminded them who they were speaking to, while Roberto told Tindeng that her colleagues may have fed her with false information since they were actually serving the needs of the people.
As Tindeng asked why they decided to cut the budget for projects catering to senior citizens, the urban poor, and education, Councilor Evelyn Dumlao (Tess Antonio) insisted that they need to restore those funds.
Thus, Congressman Leo Mojica (Rey Campanilla) urged Roberto to hold a session wherein they could discuss the money meant for those projects and go over every detail. But
Roberto rejected Cong. Leo’s suggestion that calling a session will just delay projects for the poor, asking them if it’s what they wanted to happen.
Miguelito then arrived at the scene and tried to intimidate them to no avail, as Tindeng courageously told him that she has the right to ask where the public funds are being used since the salaries of politicians like him come from their blood and sweat. As Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo) chimed in that they were holding him to that promise, Miguelito haughtily asked them to leave.
But Miguelito asserted that they’re not doing anything wrong for her to judge them like that and suggested that it’s better if they just sit back and watch what they’ll do to make the lives of every Manileño better.
