Even though Miguelito’s (Jake Cuenca) victory party was packed with guests, Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) seemed to feel alienated or ignored by everyone he tried to approach, perhaps because of his shocking loss from the recently concluded elections.
The only one to greet and converse with him was Brando (Roi Vinzon), who told him how upset he was upon hearing the news that he was defeated by the chairman of Barangay San Dimas in the congressional race. Brando went on to add how he thought the results were rigged, how he used to beg to be invited to the events of the Guerrero family, and how everyone seemed to forget about him already.
Don Gustavo’s frustration grew, as instead of him, it was Roberto (Albert Martinez) whom Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) called as his father and credited for the success of their candidacy. He went on to suddenly lash out at them upon getting a hint that they disobeyed his request to them of not involving his grandson, Tanggol (Coco Martin), in their vendetta against the Montenegros.
Miguelito and Roberto managed to shut him off and take him out of the gathering, with Jackie (Angel Aquino) telling the guests not to mind Don Gustavo since he was just going through depression due to his loss.
