Manon will be taking a break from KATSEYE's activities.
This was announced by the group in a statement published on Weverse on Saturday, February 21.
"Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing," the statement read.
The group said that they are supportive of Manon's decision.
"We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right," the statement added.
KATSEYE concluded their post by expressing their gratitude to their fans, saying: "Thank you to our EYEKONS for your continued love, patience, and understanding."
Fans online were quick to extend their well wishes for Manon.
"Get well soon, Manon. Take the time you need, we love you so much!" one fan commented.
"Please take care of yourself, take your time and support that you need, we love you so much," one fan wrote.
KATSEYE recently earned their first Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Gabriela" at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
"We can't even believe this is real life!! Two nominations?! Thank you to the @recordingacademy we are truly humbled, and congrats to all the nominees today, you inspire us!" the group posted on their Instagram page following their nominations in November of last year. "We wouldn't be here without our EYEKONS - words can't describe how grateful we are to you 🖤."

Composed of Sophia, Lara, Daniela, Yoonchae, Megan, and Manon, KATSEYE made their debut in June 2024 with the release of their first single "Debut." The group quickly gained traction, followed by their breakout hit "Touch" in July 2024.
The group reached another milestone in August 2024 with the release of their first extended play (EP), SIS (Soft Is Strong). To promote the EP, KATSEYE embarked on an Asia tour in September 2024, performing in South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan.
