KATSEYE have kicked off the year in spectacular fashion, making their Grammy debut with two nominations and a live performance at the event.
But this is just the beginning. Fans have even more to look forward to, including new music, the members revealed Thursday during their guest appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
"We were preparing for a lot this coming year, so we don't have a date yet but stay tuned," Megan, one of the multinational girl group's six members, said, sharing very little so as to avoid spoilers.
"There's going to be so much things that are so exciting," she added.
When asked to describe their new music using one word, the group's Filipino leader Sophia said: "Colorful."
Manon called it "energetic," Megan described it as "hot," Yoonchae as "fun," and Daniela as "fierce." Lara, meanwhile, gestured as if drinking tea.
During the interview, the girls also talked about the celebrities at the Grammys they were most starstruck to meet, naming Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus and Blackpink's Rosé, among others.
They also recalled previously meeting Melanie C of the Spice Girls, who shared advice with them about working in a girl group.
"She liked pulled us all in a room, just the six of us and her. And she was like, 'Guys, are you okay? Here's the deal.' She gave us really personal advice that I think we all cherished," Manon said.
During the guesting, KATSEYE also talked about their upcoming Super Bowl commercial, in which they dance to Bon Jovi's "Livin' On a Prayer," which they briefly performed at "The Tonight Show."
Formed through the competition series "The Debut: Dream Academy," KATSEYE is jointly managed by K-pop giant HYBE and Universal Music Group's Geffen Records.
The group debuted in June 2024, and have since been known for songs such as "Touch," "Gnarly" and "Gabriela."
At the most recent Grammys, the group was nominated Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Gabriela."
