"The Voice" US champion Sofronio Vasquez and his mentor Canadian crooner Michael Bublé have joined forces for a new Christmas song.
Titled "Maybe This Christmas," the track will be available on music streaming platforms beginning November 28.
In a social media post on Sunday, Vasquez expressed his disbelief and excitement about his recording with Bublé.
"I wouldn't have believed you if you told me five years ago that I would be doing a record with Michael Bublé in 2025 for Christmas. He didn't just give me a shot, he gave his time, his widsom and his voice," Vasquez wrote in the caption of his Facebook post.
Last August, Bublé confirmed that he is helping to launch the international career of Vasquez as a way of paying it forward.

Vasquez earlier revealed that he will be releasing an extended play produced by Bublé, which will feature his collaborations with global music icons Paul Anka and David Foster.
Sofronio made history as the first Asian to win "The Voice USA" after receiving most number of votes.

He first rose to fame as one of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" contenders on "It's Showtime," where he reached the semifinals.
