Canadian crooner Michael Bublé has confirmed that he helping launch the international career of Filipino singer and "The Voice" US champion Sofronio Vasquez, along with global music icons Paul Anka and David Foster.
In his social media post on early Thursday (Manila time), Bublé opened his post by expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Anka and Foster, who helped him in the early days of his career. "They believed in me when nobody knew my name," Bublé wrote.
Now, as a way of paying it forward, Bublé along with Anka and Foster are going to do the same for Vasquez.
"This is what music is about. Legacy, Love and Lifting each other up. I can’t wait for you all to hear it," Bublé added.
Vasquez earlier revealed that he will be releasing an extended play produced by Bublé, which will feature his collaborations with Anka and Foster.
Responding to Bublé's post on Thursday, Vasquez once again thanked his mentor on "The Voice."
"I’ve knocked on so many doors for so long, just hoping for a shot at my dreams. I’m incredibly grateful to Michael Bublé for being an all-around awesome human — thank you for opening many doors for me. Thank you for being both a mentor and a sponsor. Mentors help you become better, but sponsors open doors for you. We need both, and I’m lucky to have found both in you. My heart is overflowing with gratitude," he wrote.
Last December, Sofronio made history as the first Asian to win "The Voice USA" after receiving most number of votes.

He first rose to fame as one of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" contenders on "It's Showtime," where he reached the semifinals.
