Though being known for portraying memorable protagonists and antagonists on screen, Kapamilya stars Janella Salvador and Elisse Joson are taking on a far more meaningful role as moms to their little ones off screen.
The two actresses are part of the second season of BIBO-lilits Galing Challenges, where they appear alongside their kids, Jude and Felize, allowing them to celebrate their children and share a glimpse of their lives as parents.
“Actually, I’m really thankful na naging part kami nitong show na to. It's also a really big blessing to both of us, me and Jude. It shows everyone na sila (the kids) ‘yung nag-shine talaga dito,” Janella answered PUSH ABS-CBN.
The actress-singer acknowledged that while she had always kept her son’s life private, the show was a good chance to be open about her relationship with Jude.
“Ako kasi hindi talaga ako masyadong ma-post and I'd like to keep things private, lalo na for Jude who isn’t officially in showbiz. What I like about being a part of this show is that they gave us the opportunity toshow everybody our family dynamics,” she added.
She also said that it became a venue to express her thoughts on child-rearing, adding: “It gives me a platform to be able to speak about how I would like to raise him, how I would like him to grow up, and just show everybody how amazing my son is, how smart he is, how much energy he has and all of them actually.”

The second season of BIBO-lilits follows Jude and Felize, along with content creator Vlad Magallanes and his daughter Akasha, as they take on fun yet challenging tasks that test their skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Watching her son face these challenges, Janella couldn’t help but admire how capable children can be. “It showed everyone ‘yung kung gaano actually ka-resilient ang mga bata, like with challenges like this, when they're faced with challenges like this na it requires them to think like grown-ups. Ang galing kasi talagang makikita mo na bibong-bibo talaga sila at kinakaya nila.”
Elisse, meanwhile, pointed out that beyond the fun and games, the show also reflects how each child is raised at home.
“It's the kids enjoying the challenges and working to succeed on the challenges. But I guess dito makikita kung paano namin sila pinapalaki. Kasi hindi naman ‘yun nakikita sa TV or social media. So here you see how each of the kids are being raised at home, and nakakatuwa kasi iba-iba sila ng personalities,” she said.

She added that each child brings a unique personality to the show, making it even more special for viewers to learn more about them and see them beyond simply being kids of celebrities and personalities.
“You’ll see how these kids really bring out a special and different flair to the challenges and to the show, at kung pa'no sila inaalagaan at pinapalaki at goals. It's a little glimpse of how we do it at home, and nakakatuwa kasi kami din mismo as parents, when we're watching them from behind-the-scenes, nagugulat din kami,” Elisse said.
“For sure kayo din matututo and you'll pick up a few things how our family and others are,” she added.
