Jodi Sta. Maria, Loisa Andalio, Jane Oineza, and Sanya Lopez are set to star in a new movie titled Midnight Girls.
On Sunday, March 1, a video announcement showing the cast doing a dance rehearsal to the tune of SexBomb Girls' "Bakit Papa?" was posted on the social media pages of the film's lead stars.
"Ready na ba kayong iwan ang yearner era at mag-get get aw sa main character era?✨ From the director of the blockbuster hit, The Loved One, Irene Emma Villamor brings the ultimate sisterhood movie this summer, Midnight Girls!" the post read.
"Lalaban na this May 13, 2026, only in cinemas! #MidnightGirls," the post added.
Fans online were quick to react to the video.
"SOO EXCITEDDD FOR THIS," one fan commented.
"Omgggghh. Heto na yun, ang pinakahihintay nang lahat. I'm super excited na to watch this sa big screen with direk @ayrin pa ha na very magaling na director," another fan wrote.
More details about the film have yet to be announced.
Irene first teased about the project in April 2025 when she posted a photo of the cast during a shoot abroad.
Jodi recently starred in the 2025 horror movie Untold. On television, her latest project was Lavender Fields.
On February 28, Jodi announced that she has enrolled in her master's degree. "After the setbacks and delays… it's finally happening 🥹 Officially enrolled in my MA in Psychology with Specialization in Family Life Development," she announced on her Facebook page.

Loisa starred in Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Evil Origins, Bilyarista, and Ex Ex Lovers on the big screen in 2025. On television, her latest project was the series Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
In December 2025, Loisa announced that she was pregnant with her first child with husband, actor Ronnie Alonte.
"Baby Jesus, maraming maraming salamat sa pinakamalaking blessing na ipinagkaloob mo sa amin ni R2," the actress posted on Instagram. "You trusted us with a miracle we've been quietly holding in our hearts."
Meanwhile, Jane's latest films include Love Child, Fruitcake, and You're Mine in 2024. She is set to star in the Kapamilya series Love Is Never Gone.
