After their stints on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Kapamilya actress Bianca de Vera and Kapuso actors Will Ashley and Dustin Yu embarked on another journey together with the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 entry, Love You So Bad.
During the film’s media conference, the three lead stars shared the traits and characteristics they discovered about one another while working on a movie.
“Nagkasama tayo sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya and shinare natin totoong istorya ng buhay natin and nakilala ko kayo bilang kayo. Pero noong nakatrabaho ko na kayo, nakita ko yung lalim ninyo, yung pagka-seryoso ninyo sa craft ninyo. Lahat kayo, actually,” Will said.
The young actor expressed how amazed he was seeing his fellow PBB housemates pursue their passion for acting with focus and dedication.
“Yung nadiscover ko talaga is yung pagkaseryoso nila sa craft nila kapag nasa trabaho nila and 100 percent talaga binibigay nila,” Will described.
He added: “Sobrang naging smooth lang talaga, dire-diretso. Nakakatuwa and lahat kami hindi nahirapan kasi lahat nagtulong tulong para ibuhos yung puso namin para rito sa pelikulang ito.”
For Dustin, working alongside the cast for the first time proved to be a learning experience.
“Ako kasi bilang tao, napaka-observant ko. Pagaaralan ko talaga yung bawat kilos, kung paano sila magtrabaho. Kapag nasa set kami inaaral ko talaga yung mga ginagawa nila kaya ang dami kong napupulot at ang dami kong nadidiscover sa kanila bago mag-aksyon at bago magtake. Ang dami ko talagang napulot sa kanila,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, Bianca thanked Will and Dustin’s management for allowing them to work together and praised the two actors for their professionalism and talent as her leading men.
“You have two beautiful sons kasi grabe itong dalawang ito. Grabe yung talent nila and what they are bringing to the table. You have two beautiful souls, two beautiful boys. I'm sure you are really proud of them,” Bianca said.

She also admitted feeling pressured while working with the two actors. “I’m going to be really honest na grabe yung pressure ko noong nalaman ko, na even everyday na magte-taping kami, na leading lady nila ako pareho.”
Love You So Bad opens in cinemas nationwide starting December 25. The film also stars Xyriel Manabat, Ralph De Leon, Zach Castaneda, Reign Parani, Vince Maristela, Dimples Romana, Agot Isidro, Ana Abad Santos, and Bodjie Pascua.
The film is directed by blockbuster filmmaker Mae Cruz-Alviar and co-produced by Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment.
Speaking about showcasing the cast’s skills and versatility, Direk Mae shared the challenges and goals they faced during production.
“They were together in PBB so real persons yun kahit sila sinasabi iyon. Hindi ito PBB so it’s reminding din an itong acting na ito hindi real life. Next is si Bianca lang yung kilala ko sa tatlo and si Will and Dustin first time ko makatrabaho. The chemistry is easy lang kasi both have chemistry. For me, the challenge is paano babalansehan, paano natin pipigain pa kasi we don’t want na just kilig. We want them na maging actor,” Direk Mae explained.

She emphasized the film aims to explore deeper themes relevant to today’s youth.
“This is not just a film with fluff and kilig. This has depth in terms of what the youth has going through, family dynamics kasi the family plays the big role in the characters stories and kailangan ipaintindi sa kanila iyon kasi ngayon ko lang sila nakatrabaho. It’s honing the character. It is not just the kilig but we are teaching them,” she expressed.
