Kapamilya actress and host Melai Cantiveros expressed her opinion on what’s been happening in the Senate recently. During the media conference for the fifth season of her show, Kuan on One, the former Pinoy Big Brother Big Winner couldn’t help but ask lawmakers to restore dignity to the Upper House.
Melai was asked who among the senators she’d like to interview, to which she gave Senator Migz Zubiri’s name as a fellow Bisaya.

Trying to make light of the situation before getting serious, Melai shared that she had always wanted to ask the senator if he’s related to actress Diana Zubiri. Despite this, the Kapamilya star maintained that she wants to know how to achieve unity, especially in the Upper House.

Tayo-tayo nagkakalaban sa isa’t isa,” she continued.
Melai hopes that the politicians will have a sense of shame for the sake of their constituents. She maintained that she has the right to speak up not just as a concerned citizen but also a taxpayer herself.
So sana, paano ang gagawin natin…
Ibalik niyo, maawa kayo sa amin,” she ended.
Meanwhile, the fifth season of Kuan on One is set to air starting June 9 on various Kapamilya platforms, including iWant and ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
