Actress Rere Madrid and Gilas Pilipinas star Kai Sotto are now married.
The couple tied the knot in a garden wedding in Alfonso, Cavite. Photos and videos from their union were posted online on Wednesday, May 27.
Following their wedding, the couple took to social media to share a clip and reflect on their special day.
"Still feels unreal that we finally get to call this day ours (Mr & Mrs Sotto) 💍🤍," the couple wrote on Instagram.
The couple went on to express gratitude for overcoming the challenges they faced throughout their relationship.
"First, we want to thank God for this wonderful blessing we experienced this year. Even though we went through challenges, misunderstandings, and people who tried to break what we had, we still chose to trust each other. Because of that, our relationship became even stronger, together with the love and support of our families," they remarked.
The newlyweds also thanked their families for their unwavering support.
"We also want to thank our parents and siblings for being such a big part of this beautiful relationship. Seeing our families become one is truly one of the best feelings in the world. Now, we’ll continue chasing our dreams together, hand in hand," they stated.
The couple likewise expressed their appreciation to their wedding coordinators and suppliers for helping make their big day possible.

Back in March, Rere Madrid celebrated her 25th birthday.
The actress took to social media to mark the special occasion.
"25 years of becoming who I’m meant to be. For the people who stayed, the lessons that changed me, and the dreams I’m still praying for. Thank You, God, for everything," she wrote.
Kai also penned a heartfelt birthday message for Rere on social media.
"Happy birthday to my one and only @reremadrid 🖤 Forever blessed to be a part of your life. You have grown so much the past year. Thankful I get to witness such beauty everyday. You've got BIG year ahead of you, and I will always be here for you. I love you mahal ko," he wrote.
