Coming a long way since first going viral for joining the “Dalagang Pilipina” challenge on social media to becoming the face of Manila Fashion Week last year, content creator Mimiyuuuh admitted she has decided to embrace her continually growing popularity and flaunt what she has at fashion events like the inaugural Preview Creatives Night held at the Newport Grand Bar and Lounge in Pasay City.
“Parang hindi na po ako nahihiya (laughs). Kasi nakailan ilan na rin tayo (ng ganitong events) at nakakatuwa magpapansin (laughs). In all honesty, I really love dressing up. Kaya I really love attending yung mga ganitong events,” she told PUSH ABS-CBN.

Last month, Mimiyuuuh reached another career milestone when she was invited to be one of the local content creators that got the chance to interview the stars of The Devil Wears Prada 2 where actress Anne Hathaway admitted to being impressed with her questions.
“Kasi sobrang fan talaga ako ng The Devil Wears Prada. As in pag nalulungkot ako or kailangan ko mag-relax, yun ang pinanunuod ko. So ang mga questions na tinanong ko dun ay based sa movie itself and the things that I really wanted to know for the sequel. So nakakatuwa yung experience. I’m just so grateful na of all the Filipinos na puwedeng mabigyan ng ganitong opportunity ay isa ako dun kasama si Ms. Anne Curtis pa. So parang nakaka-surreal po talaga yung feeling!” she recalled.
Although the May 2026 Preview cover model has already gained a strong following online from her humble beginnings posting humorous reels online, some netizens have criticized the 29-year-old model for forgetting her roots and only being proud of now having a more comfortable life and how they miss her original "kanal humor." Mimiyuuuh clarified that her success does not mean she has really changed as a person.
“Di ba parang same lang naman din ako? It’s just that nag-iba yung lifestyle ko and the taste ko when it comes to fashion, I feel like andun talaga. Nagkaroon lang ako ng pera pambili talaga. I feel like I’m just the same girl, but different lifestyle, different vibe, lang siguro,” she admitted.

With her earnings, Mimiyuuuh counts the condominium unit she bought for herself as her biggest investment. She also revealed her biggest fashion investment to date. “My condo in Salcedo yun yung pinakamahal na binabayaran pa po natin hanggang ngayon. Sa fashion naman, yung mini-Kelly (bag) ko. Parang hindi ko nga alam kung bakit ko binili yun (laughs). Sabi nga po ni (fashion designer) Karl Lagerfeld, ‘You’re not just buying the thing, you’re buying the dream!’ So I think isa yun talaga sa mga pinapangarap kong mga pieces na makuha, na parang I made it! (laughs). For me, it’s just a thing, na baka sabihin ng ibang tao luho lang yun pero alam niyo siyempre growing up, nung walang wala kayo, siyempre yun yung mga gusto niyong makuha. And now that you are capable of getting it yourself, bakit ko naman ipagkakait? So parang I’m just living the life. Life is lifing!” she said.

Mimiyuuuh also shared how she handles those who anonymously bash her online and why she has never been bothered by their comments.
“I just really love myself and I am proud of who I am. So kahit anong sabihin nila, basta alam ko kung sino ako, bakit naman ako magpapa-apekto pa sa sinasabi nila? So just be yourself. Love yourself. Ang best comment for me na narinig ko sa fan is parang they aspire to be someone like me. So parang nakakatuwa na you’re just being you but somehow you inspire a lot of people. I don’t really care sa mga worse things, just live your life,” she said.
