PBA courtside reporter and social media personality Apple David has confirmed that she is dating NCAA player Chad Gammad. In an interview released by News5 earlier this week, she asked for respect as they navigate this chapter of their lives together.
This confirmation comes after the backlash and negative reaction that the couple received earlier this week because of the huge age gap that they have with Apple being 33 years old while Chad being 18 years old as of this writing.

It was revealed that the new couple have only been dating for a month and the courtside reporter admitted the “risky relationship” that they have.
“I know it’s a very risky relationship because of the age gap, but it’s a risk we are both taking and I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace,” she maintained.
Apple expressed her gratitude to those who have shown their support and understanding, while also apologizing to those who were offended by it.
“Sa mga tao po na nakakaintindi, sa mga tao po na sumusuporta and nag nagpahatid ng mga mensahe nila, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo. Again, sa mga na offend, we’re sorry but we just ask for respect as this should be a happy time for us,” she ended.
Her statement comes after the TikTok live that she did earlier this week where she was answering several questions and comments from netizens. She previously shared how they just “clicked” and hit it off despite the huge age gap that she has with the basketball player.
“You have a choice not to date an 18-year-old. But I also have a choice, too. Masama bang bigyan ng chance? Nag click eh, ano gagawin ko? Nag click eh, what are we supposed to do?” she previously expressed.
Meanwhile, Chad has yet to issue a statement as of this writing.
