Global girl group KATSEYE turned a concert night into a memory of a lifetime after meeting K-pop superstars BTS backstage during the Las Vegas stop of the Arirang World Tour.
Fans first spotted KATSEYE members Sophia, Yoonchae, and Megan attending the second night of BTS’s concert on May 24. But while their presence at the sold-out show already excited supporters, an even bigger surprise came when BTS member Jung Kook revealed that the trio had personally visited the group backstage.

In his latest Instagram vlog, Jung Kook documented a glimpse of their routine, giving fans an intimate look at the group’s preparation before performing at Allegiant Stadium.
The video showed the members stretching and having fun about 30 minutes before showtime, with BTS’s leader RM even seen dancing to KATSEYE’s newest track, “Pinky Up.”
The backstage atmosphere soon became livelier when Sophia, Yoonchae, and Megan arrived.
The KATSEYE members were seen greeting BTS and handing gifts to the global icons as the two groups exchanged lighthearted conversations. The trio shared playful smiles and laughter with Jung Kook while he continued filming his vlog, offering fans a rare crossover moment between two internationally recognized groups.

At one point, Jung Kook captured the encounter through a selfie video, with the three members happily posing behind him.
The moment carried even deeper meaning for certified ARMYs Sophia and Yoonchae, who later opened up about their experience during a Weverse live.
“It was really good. They did very well, they did a really good job as they do,” said Sophia about BTS’s concert.
Yoonchae, meanwhile, admitted that meeting BTS backstage overwhelmed her with emotion.
“I started crying because we did meet and greet with them. After that, I was like, my brain was blank,” said Yoonchae.
Sophia then candidly shared how the backstage interaction unfolded, recalling not only BTS’s kindness but also Yoonchae’s nervousness during the encounter.
“We got to do meet and greet before the concert before they got on stage. We got to meet all the members, and they were all so down-to-earth. They were so kind. I was being a ‘yappetron’ again. I was like yapping, but in a good way. Like we were all yapping, and it was really nice. They were really nice. They were so kind.”
“Then I looked to my right and Yoonchae, wasn't speaking. She was trying to compose herself, and then I was like, ‘Yoonchae is Korean, she can speak Korean right?’” she recalled.
The two KATSEYE members went on to reveal that BTS noticed Yoonchae’s nervousness, with the members asking if she was okay, as the overwhelming moment caused her to momentarily "forget" how to speak Korean.
“My heart dropped... and I was like I forgot Korean again. When I get nervous, I forget Korean,” Yoonchae candidly shared.
Following Jung Kook’s vlog, Sophia’s parents, Carla Guevarra and Chef Godfrey Laforteza, also shared in the excitement, unable to hide their joy over what they described as a dream come true for their daughter.
While Sophia, Yoonchae, and Megan attended the concert, fellow KATSEYE members Lara and Daniela were not present. Manon, who is currently on hiatus, also did not attend the event.
