KATSEYE announced that they are set to release their new Extended Play (EP), Wild, this August.
The group unveiled the news on Thursday, April 16 (PH time), sharing the announcement on social media: "Now you know!! Our new EP WILD will be out on August 14th. 🖤 Pre-order and pre-save the EP now."
Fans online were quick to react to the news.
"WE ARE READYYYYY," one fan commented.
KATSEYE recently dropped their latest single, “Pinky Up." The group also made their debut at Coachella on April 10 (US time).
KATSEYE debuted in June 2024 with their first single, “Debut,” quickly gaining momentum with their breakout track “Touch” the following month.
In August 2024, the group released their first EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), which they supported with an Asia tour spanning South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan. They continued their rise with their second EP, Beautiful Chaos, released in June 2025.
The girl group was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Gabriela" at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

In an interview with B96 Chicago at the 2025 Lollapalooza, KATSEYE reflected on how their music has evolved since their debut.
Member Lara shared how their sound has grown bolder over time.
"I feel like our music now is like it's a little bolder 'cause I think through the years, especially like the first year during the SIS (Soft Is Strong) era, we were finding our identity as a group and like learning who we are as a collective and as one. And I think for Beautiful Chaos we kind of have a better understanding of that, like the unity we have together," she said.
She added that their latest music mirrors the group's current dynamic. "I feel like the new music is very representative of that and like the relationship we have with each other currently and just how tight, and close, and like chaotic our friendship is with each other," she pointed out.
