Kapuso broadcaster and host Kuya Kim Atienza proudly shared that his daughter, Eliana Atienza, completed her degree at the University of Pennsylvania. The celebrity father beamed with pride as his daughter is also a Latin honor awardee.

The University of Pennsylvania is an Ivy League research university in the United States of America. The educational institution has produced several notable alumni such as two presidents of the US —William Henry Harrison and Donald Trump— and businessman Elon Musk, among others.

The whole family was present at the graduation ceremony based on the photos the broadcaster-host shared on his social media account. She is part of the graduating class of 2026 of the prestigious university.
“Good morning kids! Eliana's graduation in UPenn now. Can I make yabang? She made Summa cum laude! So proud of her,” he wrote.
Eliana was spotted donning a Filipiniana-inspired outfit as she received her diploma in front of thousands in attendance. The graduation ceremony was held at the Franklin Field.
In his Instagram Story, the proud father also shared that his daughter was one of the recipients of the Elaine Simon Award for Commitment to Social Justice in the City.
“So proud of you, my love @elianahatienza,” he expressed.
According to the official website of the University of Pennsylvania, the award is given to a senior Urban Studies major.
“This award goes to the senior Urban Studies major whose on and off campus activities at the University of Pennsylvania and future plans reflect dedication to addressing urban problems and to the principles of providing opportunity and voice for all urban citizens,” the official website of the University of Pennsylvania stated.

Fans and friends of the family sent their congratulatory messages in the comment section of the proud father’s post. Others shared how inspiring Eliana is with what she’s achieved at such a young age.
“Congratulations Eliana 🎉 and no, hindi yan yabang @kuyakim_atienza That kind of award took years of hardwork & sacrifices so go lang Kuya Kim we’re all for it,” a fan wrote.
“I'm sure little Emanski is jumping out of happiness right now. Congratulations, Eliana,” another shared.
Previously, Eliana was suspended by the University of Pennsylvania after she joined a Pro-Palestenian protest. Her father has shown his support towards his daughter and the advocacies she’s been fighting for.
“Eliana has always been vocal about what she believes in. In this instance she’s part of the organization that is anti-genocide and anti-war,” he previously said.
