Veteran broadcaster and TV host Kim Atienza recently found more letters and tokens of remembrance at his late daughter Emman’s resting place, weeks after he first revealed that messages were left by admirers who continue to find comfort in her memory.
In a recent post on Threads, Kuya Kim shared a short video capturing the delicate notes tucked into the gaps of Emman’s columbarium niche.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We see you and we hear you,” he wrote.

This latest visit revealed an array of thoughtful gifts, including bouquets, sampaguita, and even a bag of chips, alongside newly discovered letters filled with emotion and admiration.
“Dear Emman, It’s great to see you today. You look lovely as always. God must be delighted to be blessed with a beautiful angel by His side. Thank you for being you. I love you always like a sister,” one note read.
Other letters were directed to Kuya Kim, sharing how Emman had inspired them to persevere despite life’s challenges.
“Naging inspirasyon si Emman para sa amin. Naging inspirasyon siyang piliin lumaban sa buhay kahit hanggang ngayon na wala na siya,” one letter said.
One supporter, reflecting on personal loss during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, shared: “I know that grief is not linear, but I pray you find pockets of rainbows amidst your cloudy days. Truly, may God bless you more.”
The touching exchange extended online, with netizens expressing how deeply the letters moved them and reflecting Emman’s enduring legacy, particularly in advocating kindness and mental health awareness.
“I feel every word in every letter. Oh God, please help us survive every day, may we feel the value of life more than anything in this world,” one wrote.

Another added, “The love she deserves. Now is the time to express your love and gratitude towards people and animals you value before it’s too late.”

Since Emman’s passing, Kuya Kim has been more active in offering support to those facing grief and struggles. He has created safe spaces online for people to share their pain, and has extended assistance to individuals like CJ Robles, a netizen he invited on his noontime show and later helped consult with a psychiatrist.
In a report by 24 Oras, Kuya Kim explained why he dedicates time to helping others.
“Lahat tayo may krus. Maraming tao ang may krus. They look normal, they look happy, they look ordinary, they are high-functioning. Pero hindi mo alam kung anong pinagdadaanan ng mga ‘yan,” he said.
“Hindi natin alam kung anong pinagdadaanan ng mga anak natin. Pakinggan natin, and a little kindness goes a long way,” he added.
Emman passed away at the age of 19 in October 2025 in Los Angeles. Her urn is now at the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart columbarium in Makati City, where her memory continues to inspire.
