TV host and veteran broadcaster Kim Atienza shared a video of his late daughter and social media personality Emman Atienza, from her interview for Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.
The clip was posted on social media as part of Kuya Kim’s ongoing tribute series, #MondaysWithEmman, where he shares photos and videos of Emman every Monday to honor her memory. Emman passed away in October 2025 at the age of 29.
“This is a clip of Emman's interview for @pbbcollab sent to me by Tita Cory Vidanes when she visited Emmansky's wake,” he wrote in the caption. “We agreed not to post it until @pbbcollab season ended.”
The video showed Emman introducing herself with the same candid charm that made her widely known online. With over 1.3 million followers on TikTok, she became recognized for her personality and the nickname ‘Englishera’ she embraced with humor.
“I think I’m known on social media for being an ‘Englishera’. I pride myself on being authentic and posting what I feel like is true to me.”
“Before I didn’t understand any Tagalog at all. I couldn’t speak anything, couldn’t understand a word except for maybe like ‘Kamusta?’ and ‘Po’ and ‘Ate’, ‘Kuya’,” she continued.
Beyond her online presence, Emman was also known for being an outspoken advocate for mental health. She had earlier revealed in an interview with Toni Gonzaga in November 2024 that she had been battling mental health struggles since she was 12 and was later diagnosed with depression. Since then, she has used her platform to speak openly about mental health and encourage conversations about it.

In the interview clip, she spoke about how this personal journey inspired her plans.
“I’m really passionate about mental health. I’ve wanted to take Psychology since I was very very young because I noticed the lack of mental health resources in the Philippines. Ever since then it’s always kind of inspired me to pursue this industry,” she explained.
When asked to talk about her family, Emman shared how grateful she was for the life her parents worked hard to give her.
“I’m very grateful that they (parents) worked to hard to give me the life that I have. I got to get a lot closer to them in the past couple years.”
She also mentioned her older siblings, Jose and Eliana, saying their bond grew stronger when they left for college.
The interview also captured Emman’s playful personality when she was asked what might make her an interesting housemate inside Bahay Ni Kuya.
“I think one thing that could be really funny is just that I can’t speak Tagalog. I think I’m also a very extroverted person. I love to make friends with people. I talk to people just for the fun of it.”
She added that being placed in an environment like PBB might have allowed her outgoing nature to shine even more.
“Anyone who knows me personally knows how outgoing I am and I think being placed in that kind of environment would also help me thrive hopefully.”
Along with the video, Kuya Kim posed a simple question to his followers: “Would my Emmansky be a good housemate?”
Many celebrities and fans quickly responded, saying Emman would have been a memorable presence in the house.
“Aww Emman ❤️ Kuya would have adored her!! 🥹,” said PBB Collab Kapuso host Gabbi Garcia.
“Yes she would have ❤️,” added It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis.
“She would be such a great housemate, kuya Kim,” wrote former PBB Collab 2.0 housemate Inigo Jose.
Earlier this year, the Atienza family also remembered Emman on what would have been her 20th birthday last February 8.

In an Instagram post, Kuya Kim looked back on Emman’s past birthday celebrations, sharing clips of her blowing out birthday candles while loved ones cheered around her. In one video, Emman could be heard sharing a wish that had become her tradition — one rooted in kindness and selflessness.
“Emmansky your time with us was brief but you made millions happy. I love you and miss you so much. Happy 20th birthday up there dearest Emmansky!” he wrote.
Emman’s older brother Jose also paid tribute to her, reflecting on the everyday moments that still remind him of his younger sister.
“There isn’t a day that passes where I don’t think about your smile, laughter, and energy. When I see the chair where you used to sit for dinner, go through our old pictures, explore our COVID Minecraft world, or reread at the last text you sent me about our 23&Me results the day before you passed away, I’m always left wishing I had said ‘I love you’ more than I did,” he recalled.
Meanwhile, her sister Eliana marked her birthday with a quiet but sweet gesture by lighting candles on a cake and sharing a short message.
“Happy 20th birthday, Emman. I can’t wait for the day I get to see you again,” she wrote.
In late January, Kuya Kim described his 59th birthday as his “toughest birthday,” as it was the first time he marked the occasion without Emman.
