An already unforgettable night at the SexBomb Girls’ rAWnd 4 reunion concert became even more emotional after Maneuvers dancer Joshua Zamora surprised his wife, SexBomb Girls member Jopay Paguia, with a second wedding proposal on stage on February 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The couple first tied the knot in Quezon City in 2014.
The concert was in full swing when Jopay took center stage for her solo performance, dancing to “Jopay” by Mayonnaise, a song long associated with her name and career. Wearing a superhero-inspired costume, she captivated the crowd as she danced mid-air using an aerial hoop and swing, drawing cheers as she soared above the stage. Throughout the performance, Joshua – a renowned dancer himself – stayed close, assisting her to ensure her safety.

As the routine neared its end, Joshua gently took Jopay’s hand and the two shared a brief, tender dance, seamlessly blending romance into the performance. Moments later, another dancer lifted Jopay and spun her through the air, unaware that a bigger surprise was already unfolding behind her.
Their daughters, Alessa and Ariana, entered the stage and waited alongside Joshua. As Jopay landed and wrapped up her performance with her signature fierceness, the arena erupted in cheers. Still catching her breath, she turned around to see Joshua kneeling on one knee, holding a ring, with their children by his side.
Overcome with emotion, Jopay broke down in tears as Joshua began, “Our super mom,” before asking the question that stunned both her and the audience: “Will you marry me again?”

Through tears and laughter, Jopay answered without hesitation, “Yes.”
She repeated it moments later, making sure the entire arena heard her joy-filled response: “I said yes!”
Joshua slipped the ring onto her finger as Jopay, visibly shaking, exclaimed, “Nanginginig ako.” Their children joined them in a tight embrace before Joshua and Jopay sealed the moment with a kiss, drawing loud applause from the crowd.
Still emotional, Jopay turned to her husband and said, “Grabe sinurprise niyo naman ako...Sabi mo sasayaw ka lang.”
“Lagi na lang siyang ganiyan,” she told the crowd.
She then took a moment to thank Joshua, sharing how deeply grateful she was for his unwavering support, especially after her recent hospitalization due to concussion and knee surgery.
“Pero maraming-maraming salamat...Kasi si Joshua, ang dami kong pinagdaanan recently...nandiyan siya. Lagi siyang naka-suporta sakin pati sa dalawang anak [namin]. Thank you so much. I love you. Thank Lord,” she said.
“I love you, my one and only Babas,” Joshua told her.
Fans inside the arena erupted in cheers, while congratulatory messages quickly poured in on social media, celebrating the couple’s love.
Joshua and Jopay are set to mark their 12th wedding anniversary this June.
In a 2024 interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Joshua shared that their relationship, which was rooted in dance and strengthened by years in the same industry, continues to grow deeper.
“Siguro nag-start kami na mag-boyfriend and girlfriend, almost 20 years ago na rin. So that’s around 2004-2005,” he said. “Ibang klase (yung relationship namin) kasi dahil rin sa pagsasayaw ay nagkakilala kami. Dahil pareho kaming artista at dahil sa Daisy Siete eh namuo ‘yung aming pag-ibig.”
“Solid dahil siguro malaking advantage na pareho kaming dancer, nagkakaintindihan kami. Pareho kaming artista. Pareho kaming nasa industriya, so mas malawak ‘yung pananaw namin sa isa’t isa eh,” he added.
