MANILA — SexBomb Girls member Jopay Paguia has undergone a knee aspiration procedure, her husband Joshua Zamora confirmed on Wednesday.
In a social media post, Zamora uploaded a reel showing his wife after the fluid was removed from her knees.
According to the Mayo Clinic, a joint aspiration — or arthrocentesis — involves drawing fluid from the knee to check for blood, infection-causing bacteria, or crystals often seen in gout or pseudogout.
"Thank you sa lahat ng prayers. Knee aspiration procedure done. Speedy recovery, healing in Jesus name. God is good all the time. We have a good good father. Love you Babas. I’m always here for you," Zamora wrote on Instagram.
Last Tuesday, Zamora and Paguia shared a photo of Paguia in a hospital gown, captioned: "Operation day. Trusting God completely."
Early this month, Paguia was also hospitalized after she suffered a concussion.
SexBomb Girls are set to reunite for three-night concert next month after their successful concerts last December.
