At 60 years old, Sharon Cuneta is once again taking a bold step forward in her entertainment journey.
In an Instagram post on February 20, the Megastar shared that she is setting up a new company that will oversee her career, schedules, and projects, signaling a fresh chapter as she enters a new decade in both life and showbiz.
“I am so pleased to announce that I will finally be putting up a new company (will announce name soon) that will manage my career, schedules, and projects,” she wrote.
According to Sharon, the company will handle her corporate guestings and musical shows, while also producing and helping mount much of her creative content and music. The move places more of her artistic direction in the hands of a team she deeply trusts and has worked with for decades.

Leading the venture alongside her is longtime friend and music producer Eloisa Matias, who has been part of Sharon’s journey since 1988 when she served as Music Researcher on ABS-CBN’s The Sharon Cuneta Show. Eloisa later became the show’s Executive Producer and took on the same role during the first year of Sharon’s 1998 talk show, Sharon.
“She was also my creative and music producer of my major concerts like my 25th anniversary concert, The Mega Event, My 40 Years, Dear Heart, among others and five of my albums (Isn't it Romantic I & II, Sharon Sings Alcasid, Musika at Pag-ibig, and Children's Rhymes and Lullabies) and many other recordings,” Sharon added.
“She brings her almost four decades of musical experience in the television and music industry,” she maintained.
Also joining the company is her Executive Assistant, Maricar Ong, who has long managed her promotions, television guestings, shows, and film projects, ensuring that Sharon’s commitments over the years ran seamlessly behind the scenes.
“I am very excited to work with them and please join me in giving them a warm welcome,” Sharon said.
Following this, fans congratulated the Megastar and expressed their excitement about her upcoming projects.
The announcement comes shortly after another milestone in Sharon’s life. She celebrated her 60th birthday in January with a surprise tribute on ASAP, marking the occasion surrounded by music together with her friends in the industry.
Embracing another chapter in her life with gratitude, she even shared a photo of her senior citizen identification card on Instagram, saying that “aging is a privilege.”
“Hahahaha!!! Yahooo!!!!ππ»β€οΈπ€π₯°π―π AGING, MY FRIENDS, IS A PRIVILEGE!!! Thank You, Lord!” she previously wrote.
Earlier, she also looked back on nearly five decades in the entertainment industry, thanking her loyal fan base, the Sharonians, for standing by her through the years.
