(UPDATED) Megastar Sharon Cuneta serenaded First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. during the star-studded event “Evening with the Stars,” performing some of her most beloved hits before an audience of distinguished guests.
Before beginning her performance, Cuneta brought laughter to the room with a playful jab directed at the President.
“Sir, I only have one vice president, my date tonight,” she said, referring to her husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
She then teased, “Mali your choice, no?! Sorry, okay, okay, let’s move on.”
The remark drew laughs from the audience.
Pangilinan ran against Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2022 elections.
Despite the lighthearted political reference, the mood of the evening remained celebratory, with Cuneta’s performance serving as one of the highlights of the program.

Glamour, music, and star power filled the event, which celebrated the artists and personalities who continue to light the country’s entertainment industry.
The elegant affair brought together some of the biggest names in showbiz, turning the venue into a constellation of film, television, and pageant royalty.
Among those spotted were seasoned actress Janice de Belen, actress and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, and actress Jessy Mendiola. Representing the pageant world was Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Universe Philippines 2025, who dazzled in her evening ensemble.
The night was made even more memorable with stirring musical performances.
“The Voice” Season 26 standout Sofronio Vasquez III took the stage, showcasing the vocal prowess that captured audiences. Singer Arabelle Dela Cruz also delivered a heartfelt performance that earned warm applause from the distinguished guests.
Guiding the program with charm and charisma was the Concert King himself, Martin Nievera, who served as the evening’s host.
