The Philippines’ King of Talk Boy Abunda shared that he is hopeful that there will be an opportunity for him to do a talk show with the country’s Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, in the future. During the latest episode of his afternoon talk show, the veteran host revealed he celebrated Kris’s birthday at her home last February 14.
Boy and Kris have done several talk shows together, such as The Buzz, Boy & Kris, Aquino & Abunda Tonight, and Showbiz News Ngayon, among others.

“Last February 14 in the afternoon, binisita ko ang aking kaibigan na si Kris Aquino. We had a nice chat at kumain kami,” Boy recalled.
In their chat, Boy reminisced about the times they spent together in front of the camera, which they’ve done for more than three decades already. He quipped that their careers are older than Kris’s eldest son, Josh Aquino.
“Sabi ko, Kris we’ve been doing television for a long time… So kung bibilangin mo talaga, mas matanda pa yung aming television kaysa kay Josh–– we’ve been doing this for over 30 years,” he said.
Boy then shared that he looks forward to doing another show with the Queen of All Media sometime in the future. Though he doesn’t have any idea of what format yet, he is hopeful that it will come to life soon.

“There’s this thing in me na I’m looking forward to doing another talk show with Kris. Oo. I don’t know if it’s going to be in the form of a podcast or an online thing or a television thing but hindi ko alam,” he hoped.
Meanwhile, the veteran host gave a glimpse of the health condition of his dear friend during his quick visit for her birthday.
“She’s getting better and sana tuloy tuloy. We continue to pray, she’s getting better–– she’s gained some weight at palagay ko exciting things are going to happen this year,” he expressed.
Kris has been battling several autoimmune diseases, which she constantly gives an update about on her Instagram account. She has asked for prayers from her fans as she continues her fight.
