Sofia Trazona, the trans child of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, revealed that her mother’s husband, Alvin Aragon, hit her once in the past. In the latest vlog of veteran talent manager and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz, she recalled how it happened and why she understood back then why she was hit.
Sofia is the child of Izzy with her former partner, Michael Navarro.
She narrated that she was around 12 years old at the time when it happened and it was during the Christmas rush. She was traveling from Mandaluyong City back to Cavite where they were forced to live due to financial constraints.
“Nung grade 7 ako, napalayas kami ng bahay sa Mandaluyong–– buong family together with their two kids. Dahil po dun, napilitan kami lumipat sa bahay ng lola ko sa Cavite so ayun,” she recalled.
Despite living in Cavite then, Sofia continued her studies in Mandaluyong City and had to travel every day for four months just to finish her schooling.
Sofia recalled how she wasn’t able to update them on her whereabouts since she didn’t have a phone back then.
“Kaya din ako napagalitan ni Alvin nun kasi Christmas rush yun–– vacation na namin kinabukasan. Bumili lang ako ng pang exchange gift dahil nga malalayo yung malls sa Cavite. Dumaan lang ako for exchange gift and nalate ako ng uwi kasi sobrang haba ng pila sa terminal tapos nagalit siya sa akin kinabukasan,” she expressed.
She admitted how shocked she was when she got hit, but understood where Izzy’s husband was coming from.
“Naiintindihan ko naman kasi nag cacare sila sa akin tapos nag aalala din pero wala naman akong kasalanan,” she continued.
Eventually, Alvin asked for forgiveness for hitting her and it was the only time that she was ever hit by him.
“Yes, nanghingi naman siya ng sorry,” she maintained.

Despite this, Sofia revealed that her biological parents have never laid hands on her as they would rather use their words instead.
“Doon ako na shock kasi never akong na-hit ng parents ko. Kunyari papagalitan nila ako, ganun. Pero walang physical pero yung talak ng parents ko ramdam–– hindi galit pero ramdam,” she said.
“Gusto nila ipaintindi kung bakit ka nagkamali, ito yung consequence ng nangyari,” she added.
While Sofia isn’t living with her mother anymore, she expressed how supportive her biological father has been when it comes to her transition journey. She previously shared how grateful she is for his love and encouragement.
