Although the public has been anticipating her reaction to all the online backlash against her husband Alvin Aragon regarding his recent statements against her former dance group and her transgender child Sofia, original Sexbomb Girls member Izzy Trazona chose to focus on highlighting positivity in her latest social media post.
On her Instagram post on February 18, Izzy shared a fun photo of her family all wearing pajamas. The photo showed her husband, former StarStruck contestant Alvin Aragon, and their three children, Yana, Zoey, and Shekhinah.
In her post, she wrote, “It’s not easy for the whole family…. but gumigising everyday by the strength that God gives… By grace na hindi naman namin deserve, but patuloy na kumakapit sa mga pangako ng Diyos. At patuloy na nakatingin sa ginawa ni Jesus to save sinners like us.”
The couple started making headlines when Alvin faced backlash over his remarks involving discussions about Izzy’s departure from the SexBomb Girls and her noticeable absence during their recent concerts. The StarStruck Season 1 alumni also drew flak when an early 2025 TikTok video of the couple resurfaced on social media which showed them reminiscing about the defining moments of their relationship through the years. This included Alvin initially questioning the paternity of Izzy’s baby-to-be at the time.
Alvin is currently receiving more heat with the release of Ogie Diaz’s interview with Izzy’s firstborn Sofia Trazona, her only child with her previous partner, Michael Navarro. Sofia, who is transgender, revealed that Alvin had hit her once in the past, when she was only 12 years old.
Although still not directly addressing the issues against her husband, Izzy reminded her followers that she and her family are also prone to committing mistakes. She added, “We are not perfect, actually the name of our gc sa messenger is 'the imperfect family' kaya ganon nalang ang pagkapit sa salita Nya. Kasi hindi ko alam kung saan kami pupulutin apart from His word.

Earlier this month, Izzy made a surprise appearance in the fourth leg of the highly successful SexBomb comeback concert, where she joined Rochelle Pangilinan and the rest of her former co-dancers on stage at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last February 7. The former dancer has been vocal about her decision to resign from the group in 2009, citing her faith as a big influence on leaving her former career.
Izzy continues her career as a dancer, but this time as a licensed Zumba instructor in the field of dance fitness, just like fellow SexBomb member Jopay Paguia.
