Former actress and politician Marjorie Barretto reflected on the year that was, sharing how it has been for her and her family. In an Instagram post, the celebrity mom expressed how 2025 was both “good and bad” for her but is grateful that she has her children to lean on during the challenging times.
Marjorie had several difficult moments in 2025 such as losing out on what she hoped was her comeback in the political scene, breaking her silence after her mother’s statements, and mourning the loss of her brother Mito, among others.

“2025 was good and bad, fast and slow, crazy and calm, peaceful and painful. I am very grateful that God gave my children and I enough strength and protection to get us through the past year,” she wrote.
Marjorie and her children spent some time in Hong Kong as they welcomed the new year. In her post, she shared a glimpse of their family vacation which included celebrating the New Year countdown at a restaurant.
“Blessed to have my children with me and glad to see how they are so united in love,” she added.
The celebrity mom made sure to express her gratitude to everyone who showed their support to them and remains hopeful that 2026 will be “better and brighter.”
“To all of those who stood with us, stayed with us, mourned and celebrated with our family, THANK YOU. Here is wishing everyone a better and brighter 2026,” she ended.
Her son Leon and daughters–– Julia, Dani, and Erich–– were spotted in the celebratory post. Though her daughter Claudia wasn’t in the carousel of photos she shared, she made sure to send some love in the comment section of her mother’s post.
