The children of Marjorie Barretto–– Dani, Julia, and Leon–– have publicly expressed their support for their mother after she broke her silence last October 29 on her social media account. The celebrity mother finally spoke up after her own mother, Inday Barretto, had a tell-all interview with Ogie Diaz earlier this month.
In the interview, Inday shared that she doesn’t “get along fine” with Marjorie but maintained that she still loves her, nonetheless.

This interview had garnered over more than a million views on Ogie’s YouTube channel as of this writing. Several netizens have formed their opinions and expressed mixed reactions as well prior to Marjorie speaking up.
In the comment section of her post, various celebrity friends have shown their support towards her and stood by her. Noticeably, her children have also come forward to make sure that the public knows their love for Marjorie.
“I love you I love you I love you mom,” Julia shared.
“We will always love you and protect you! No matter what… I love you so much mom!!!!!!” Dani added.
“No words can describe how much we love you mom. We will be your protector as well,” Leon maintained.
In her post, Marjorie shared how "shocked" she was to learn and hear about what her mother said in the interview. She revealed how they’ve been spending time together especially during the final days of her brother, Mito Barretto.
She maintained that she will rather focus on her children and make sure that she can be the “best mom” rather than looking for “affection and protection” from her own mother.
“Mom, I want you to know that I love you. And I have learned to accept whatever kind of love you can give me. It's okay. In fact, I have surrendered to it. Instead of looking for affection and protection from you, I will pour all of my energy into being the best mom to my children. I am not a perfect mom, but they can trust me,” she previously shared.
Inday has yet to release another statement as of this writing.
