Neil Arce expressed how proud he is of his son, Joaquin, who has been maturing and growing during his stay inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. In his Instagram post, the celebrity dad shared how happy he is to see the Kapamilya actor facing the criticisms head on and without any drama.
Neil’s post comes after Joaquin was called out by some of his housemates for his strong personality for which he quickly apologized. His friend, Lella Ford, also confronted him about this for which Neil expressed his gratitude as well.

“Yan ganyan dapat. Pag may criticisms, take it like a man. Face it, listen, acknowledge it, change for the better. Natuwa akong hinarap mo ng walang drama,” he wrote.
The celebrity father added how thankful he is for the remaining housemates who called him out as it allowed his son to think things through.
“Thanks housemates for calling him out to help him grow. Thanks lella for saying it straight to his face —A true friend indeed. Proud of you, child,” he added.
“Paglabas mo, magluto ka dito sa bahay,” he ended.
Neil also made sure to lighten up the situation through using Apo Hiking Society’s song, "Batang-Bata Ka Pa," which netizens found funny. Meanwhile, the stepmom of Joaquin, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin, took notice of the song choice by her husband.
“Natawa ako sa music lol,” she wrote.
Both Neil and Angel have been vocal on social media about their support for Joaquin’s journey inside the PBB house.

During one of the episodes earlier this week, Joaquin gathered the housemates to explain his side and maintained how their criticisms will help him get better. He assured them that there’s nothing wrong with calling him out despite what his facial expression may look like otherwise.
“I wanted to say na the reason for you not telling me criticism here is that medyo intimidating ako, I’m really sorry but ganun talaga ako… Minsan nakasimangot ako, I’m just locked in. I’m not mad or anything, I’m just really focused,” he explained.
“I really won’t get mad at you if you have something to say to me,” he assured.
