MANILA -- Welcome to "PBB: Angel Locsin Edition."
Once again, actress Angel Locsin showed her support to her stepson, Joaquin Arce, one of the housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0."
On Sunday's episode of the hit reality program, Locsin and Arce's parents and grandmother requested songs from the housemates as part of the the latter's caroling task.
Locsin's voice was heard requesting the songs "Joy to the World," "Silent Night," and two original songs to the housemates.
"Joy To The World" was performed by Arce and co-housemates including Lella Ford.
While watching the performance of the housemates, Locsin can be heard commenting, "Ang cute ni Ash," referring to Ashley Sarmiento, who portrayed the character of young Rhian Bonifacio, Locsin's lead character in the 2019 series "The General's Daughter."
"Tapos si Miguel (Vergara), anak ko rin 'yan sa 'One More Try,'" added Locsin, who can be heard talking to Arce's mom Sunshine.
After performing the songs, Arce thanked his family for the love and support:
"Kaya Tita Angel po, mentor ko po siya. Though I don't have that many projects yet I wouldn't be the actor I am today kung hindi niya ako tinuruan. I really owe it to my mom for raising me and sa lahat ng sakripisyo na ginawa niya sa akin. Parang mom figure din po ang lola ko. I guess masasabi ko na suwerte akong tao na may tatlo akong mom figure," Joaquin said.
"I love you all of you. I miss you guys unfortunately hindi tayo magkasama ngayong Pasko pero alam ko nanonood kayo sapat na 'yon para sa akin," he added.
