UNIS, the K-pop girl group with Filipino members, expressed their gratitude to fans for their support as they wrapped up a series of events in the country over the weekend.
The eight-member group performed at the New Frontier Theater on Saturday for a fan concert, followed by a fan-signing event at a Quezon City mall the next day.
On Monday, Gehlee, one of the group's Filipino members, took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank fans for their "overwhelming sweetness during our stay."
"Tulad ng inaasahan (As expected), we had so much fun interacting with you all again. I've honestly already cried myself a sparkly river over how happy this trip made me," Gehlee wrote.
"We hope you enjoyed all our stages (performances) and that we were able to bring a ton of smiles to the country I can call my tahanan (home)," she added.
In an earlier X post, Elisia, another Filipino member, shared that the group "prepared really hard to give our beloved Filipino EverAfters ang deserve nilang mga magagandang stages (the beautiful stages they deserve)."

"I really hope you all enjoyed our PH events as much as we did and sana magkitakita ulit tayo soon," she said.

Hyeonju, the group's leader who is Korean-Filipino, said she was leaving the country "with so much energy" thanks to the fans.
The other members also took to X to express their love for Filipino fans.
Formed through the reality talent competition "Universe Ticket," UNIS debuted in 2024 with the extended play "We UNIS."
The group—which also includes Korean members Yunha, Yoona and Seowon, as well as Japanese members Nana and Kotoko—last made a comeback in April with the EP "Swicy," fronted by the single of the same title.

Later this month, AHOF, another group from the same agency as UNIS that also includes a Filipino member, is set to visit the country for a fan concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

In recent years, more Filipinos have been debuting in K-pop groups, a trend seen as a move to attract a broader international audience.
