Kapuso star Glaiza de Castro mourned the passing of her father, Alfred Galura, earlier this week. The Encantadia actress paid tribute to her late father who has been a constant presence in her life.
Glaiza didn’t disclose any more details about her father’s death in her post.

She shared several memories they had together over the years–– expressing how she wanted to remember her late father that way.
“Ganito kita aalalahanin, yung mga tawa’t ngiti, boses mo lalo na pag kumakanta ka… fan na fan mo talaga ako,” she wrote.
Glaiza then showed her gratitude towards her father for being so supportive of her dreams while he was still living. In one of the photos she shared, he was spotted cheering the Kapuso star on while the latter was performing.
“Salamat sa pagsuporta mo sa mga pangarap ko… masaya akong nakasama kitang makamtan yun. Salamat sa pagmamahal mo sa amin… sa lahat lahat,” she added.
Despite being physically gone, the Kapuso actress assured her late father that she will always have the same love for him.
“Mahal na mahal kita ‘tay alam mo yan… pahinga ka maigi,” she ended.

Friends and fans of the actress sent their condolences and messages of support in the comment section of her post. Other netizens shared how they were witnesses of the love and support Glaiza’s father had.
“Yakap ng mahigpit te 🫂 We will miss you tay,” actress Sheena Halili wrote.
“Pahingang maigi tataypips,” Angelica Panganiban added
“Losing someone we love is an inexplicable pain. Glaiza, I could say so many things, but I know that no words at this moment are capable of alleviating or lessening your pain, so I pray for you and your family and ask for peace and comfort in your heart. My sincere and deep condolences to you and your family, be strong and even with the pain, remember the best moments of your life that you had with your father,” a fan shared.
Glaiza’s father was part of the musical duo, The Alcris Duet, alongside her mother, Cristy Galura, which was formed in the 1980s.
