BB Gandanghari has reached a new milestone, graduating summa cum laude from the Los Angeles Film School with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Business.
The actress shared a video from her graduation ceremony on social media and reflected on her journey toward this achievement.
"Being Summa Cum Laude… is not without hard work, discipline, perseverance and determination," she remarked. "As much as I am proud of this achievement, I am also proud as a working student of having a perfect attendance and never late in my classes during the entire course."
In addition to graduating with honors, BB was also recognized as Student of the Month and became a member of the Honor Society of Los Angeles.
In another post, BB stated: "Be All that You can Be… 🙏 Education is a lifelong passion 💯."
Fans online were quick to congratulate BB in this new feat.
"Congratulations on your well-deserved success," one fan commented.
"Congrats BB... you worked so hard and look where you are!" another fan wrote.
As per its website the Los Angeles Film School's programs are "designed around current technology and industry practices, enabling aspiring talent to discover their individual voices through collaboration and realize their career goals in entertainment and media."
BB signed with The Brogan Agency, a Los Angeles-based talent agency, in 2017.
In 2019, she made her U.S. television debut in the Netflix show GLOW, portraying a fortune teller named Patricia in episode eight of the program's third season.
After residing in the U.S. for over a decade, BB became an American citizen in 2022.
In September 2024, she returned to the Philippines to celebrate her birthday, where she was surprised with a party organized by her brother Robin Padilla and sister-in-law Mariel Rodriguez.
"#Homecoming: a moment of love, joy, and peace amongst family and friends. Thank you [Robinhood] and [Mariel] for this wonderful welcome. I love you both. My heart is full," she posted on her Instagram page.
"This is the happiest moment in my life. No exaggeration. This is the best, biggest party I've ever had. And it’s the only surprise I've ever had in my life. I never thought I would ever have a surprise," she added.
