Actress and beauty queen Winwyn Marquez shared a heartfelt message for her daughter Luna, who turned three on Wednesday, April 30.
On her social media page, Winwyn posted glimpses of an intimate pre-birthday celebration held ahead of the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) National Costume competition.
“Advance happy happy birthday my Luna! Tomorrow is your big day but you'll be spending it with me sa national costume show ng MUPH 🥹 Thank you for sharing your birthday with Mama,” the celebrity mom wrote
In the post, Luna was all smiles in a room filled with Paw Patrol-themed decorations and two birthday cakes.
“I promise, tonight me and Dada will buy you more cake and bread just like you love hehe,” Winwyn added.
“You are such a blessing to us... You and Dada are my strength, and I know I wouldn’t be doing this with so much passion if it weren’t for you,” Winwyn expressed.
The Muntinlupa representative shared that she, her partner, and daughter are preparing for the MUPH National Costume competition, which will be held Wednesday night, April 30, at Okada Manila.
Although they will be skipping the exact date of Luna’s birth date, the celebrity mom-beauty queen promised Luna to have her post birthday celebration in Disneyland as well as giving her the time to watch her favorite show.
“I promise we’ll take you to see Disney land soon..and this May, you’ll finally get to watch Paw Patrol! 🥹,” Winwyn said. “I love you so so much anak!”
Celebrities and personalities also extended their birthday greetings to Luna in the comment section.
“Happy birthday baby girl!!! So many stick o’s for youuuu! ❤️,” Winwyn’s fellow Miss Universe Philippines delegate from Liliw, Laguna Pauline Rowbelle commented.
Actor Rodjun Cruz also greeted, “Happy birthday Inaaanak Luna!🎂🤗🎉 God bless you always.”
A netizen also wished a special birthday gift for Winwyn and her daughter, saying, “wishing you the best birthday gift this special week for you and your daughter ✨🌌💫👑.”
In a separate post, Winwyn shared a photo of their happy family staying at a hotel in Manila ahead of her pageant event.
“Spending Luna's 3rd birthday here at @okadamanila and later, it’s @themissuniverseph national costume show! 😱,” she shared.
The week is packed with celebrations for Winwyn, with the MUPH coronation night set for Friday, May 2, followed by her own birthday on May 4.
“Coronation night on the 2nd, and my birthday naman on the 4th! So much to celebrate this week talaga!🥹🙏 #WynTheUniverse,” she added.
She also celebrated the third year since she became a mother to Luna.
Winwyn said in a caption: “April 30. Today marks the day I became a mother. That moment changed me.. I knew I could handle whatever came next. 💫.”
Meanwhile, Winwyn received nine special awards from the pageant’s sponsor during the pre-pageant show last April 28.
The Muntinlupa representative bagged awards such as Miss Jell Life, Miss Clinique de Paris, Miss Aqua Boracay, Miss Wuling, Miss New Moon, Miss Mags, Miss Wendy’s, Miss So-en, and Miss Zion Philippines
Earlier this year, she announced her return to the pageant scene as one of the 66 official delegates for Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
This is her comeback eight years after making history as the first Filipina to win the Reina Hispanoamericana title in 2017.
