KC Concepcion took a trip down memory lane as she visited the ABS-CBN compound, a place she once called home during her years as a host and actress.
In her latest YouTube vlog, KC shared how meaningful it was to return to the network that shaped much of her career.
"We are now in one of the most precious places in my life and a lot of artists' lives. We are in the ABS-CBN main building. It's so nice to be back," she said in her latest YouTube vlog.
KC explained that the visit was deeply personal, as the building holds countless memories from her childhood and career.
"It is just really important to me to show you around the place where I also grew up and marami akong naaalalang mga kwento sa lahat ng mga pader at sulok ng building na ito. Itong ABS-CBN in the service of the Filipino and in the service of you, let's take a tour around the ABS-CBN building and say our proper goodbyes," she stated.
During the vlog, KC toured the ELJ building, the network's newer building, where she once had her dressing room while hosting shows such as ASAP, The Buzz, and The X Factor Philippines.
"Ito 'yung parang naging homebase natin. So nilalagyan ko yan dito ng candles. I have my candles para ma-change 'yung energy ng konti, ma-feel ko na room ko siya for the day," the TV host recalled.
KC also showed her vlog viewers where ASAP was usually filmed.
"This is the first time I am walking in ABS-CBN after 7 years... Imagine dito na po ako lumaki... Ito na 'yung corridor, these are very familiar stomping grounds. I like to call this my old stomping grounds. This is the building that made a lot of dreams come true. Always grateful to ABS-CBN for taking care of me, and my mom (Sharon Cuneta), and our fans who come here to watch us live," she said.
KC then walked through the hallways of the main building, where she filmed The Buzz, and reflected on returning after many years. She also shared childhood memories of spending time in the building long before her hosting career began.
"This is the main building, ang dami kong memories dito sa building na 'to lalo na sa hallway na 'to, kasi i think 8 years old, or 7 years old pa lang ako, wala pa 'yung building na pinanggalingan natin na ELJ, naka-roller skates ako dahil only child ako, mommy ko single mom, nagtatrabaho, dinadala ako sa recording studio dito na black and white pa 'yung tiles," she recounted. "Ginagawa ko dito roller skating. Ginawa kong playground ang hallway na ito," she said.
The actress also showed the radio booth of ABS-CBN in the main building.
KC ended her vlog by expressing her gratitude to the network that played a significant role in her life.
"ABS-CBN has been in the service of the Filipino for so many years now and I guess once a Kapamilya always a Kapamilya at heart. Thank you ABS-CBN for all the dreams you've made come true and all the lives you've changed," she remarked.
She added: "I will always love you and I will always remember you main building."
Back in February, ABS-CBN announced that it signed a deal with Ayala Land Inc (ALI) for the sale of a portion of its property in Quezon City, which includes the main building.
