Kapamilya actress Gladys Reyes shared the reason her son, fellow Star Magic talent, Christof, couldn’t commit to the audition for Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0. After the Star Magic Spotlight Presscon held last October 29, she answered a few questions from the media including PUSH ABS-CBN.
PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 recently premiered and 20 housemates–– 10 from the Kapamilya network and 10 from the Kapuso network–– were introduced. Fans have wondered whether Christof could’ve joined this latest set of housemates if given the chance.

Gladys admitted that she was in discussion with Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi about the possibility of her son entering the PBB house.
“Meeting palang namin ni Direk Lauren, sinabi na niya yan. Ininvite niya si Christof for PBB kaya lang hindi talaga pwede,” she revealed.
The Star Magic talent then shared the reasons Christof was unable to join PBB even if he auditioned to be a housemate–– citing religious affairs and his curricular activities as a big factor.
Christof is currently a student at the University of the Philippines Diliman and balances his time as a working student.
“He’s studying in UP and at the same time, hindi siya makaka church–– may church service kami twice a week. Alam mo naman, bawal ang outside world. So wala, hindi talaga. Walang way para pumasok si Christof sa PBB,” she explained.

Despite not being able to be a regular housemate, Gladys expressed that she is open to the possibility of having her and Christof visit the PBB house as a guest housemate in this edition. One of the Kapuso housemates, Caprice Cayetano, is someone close to the veteran actress’s heart as they both star in a GMA show.
“Why not? Gusto ko yun. Sabi ko nga, wag lang nila aapihin si Caprice doon, papasok talaga ako. I would love to visit Bahay ni Kuya, wag niya lang ako patulugin doon ah,” she expressed.
