Veteran actress Gladys Reyes expressed her desire to work with multi-awarded Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria if given the chance. During the media conference after her contract signing with ABS-CBN’s talent arm, Star Magic, she shared how fun it would be to have a slapping scene with her fellow actress.
Gladys hasn’t worked with Jodi on a project yet but her husband, Christopher Roxas, previously worked with her on Tabing Ilog.

“Isa rin siguro sa naisip ko kaya I signed up with Star Magic because I want to work also with Jodi Sta. Maria. Parang ang sarap niyang apihin eh diba? Ang bait bait ni Jodi at tsaka magkakilala din kami ni Jodi dahil magkasama sila way back ni Christopher sa Tabing Ilog,” she shared.
Gladys praised the acting skills of Jodi as well. which was one of the reasons she wants to work with her.
“Siyempre alam naman natin napaka husay na actress din ni Jodi–– multi-awarded as well. At sa totoong buhay ang bait bait din kaya parang maano kang saktan kapag eksena. Pero siyempre kapag take na, walang ng Jodi Jodi sa'kin. Maiintindihan na ni Jodi yun,” she quipped.
When asked about other Kapamilya talents she wants to work with, she didn’t hesitate to mention some of her friends that she hasn’t had a project with yet or those whom she hasn't worked with again in a long time.
“Jericho Rosales as well di ko pa siya nakakatrabaho. Si Piolo [Pascual] kasi book 2 pa yata ng Mara Clara nung nakatrabaho ko. Siyempre nung nag kita kami sa Star Awards we were talking sana magkatrabaho tayo,” she said.

“Sana, manifesting also we can work together here. I wanna work with Kim (Chiu) also kasi sa Showtime lang kami nagkakasama. Ang bait bait din ni Kim sa'kin and I’m sure mag eenjoy kami together pag mag kasama kami,” she added.
Gladys also mentioned Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes as as some of the people she’d like to work with if given the chance.
Meanwhile, Gladys expressed how excited she is with the projects lined up for her now that she’s under Star Magic. Despite being with the ABS-CBN talent arm, the actress will continue to act in several networks–– she is currently starring in the GMA show, Cruz vs Cruz alongside fellow Star Magic talent Vina Morales.
